As we enter this spring season and celebrate the holidays of Easter and Passover, I want to wish each of you and your family a very happy holiday and all of my best wishes to keep safe and healthy during these trying times.  I am certain that better days are ahead and I am looking forward to a time when we can all be together again.

Updates about California’s “Stay at Home” Order and Closure of Lafonn’s Headquarters

On March 19, the Governor of California issued a statewide “Stay at Home” order, effectively closing all non-essential businesses in the state. As of the close of business, Friday, March 20, the Lafonn corporate headquarters will be closed until the order is lifted. The safety and health of our associates, retail partners and sales team is our primary concern.
 
While the company headquarters is closed and we are unable to ship or receive merchandise, we are available to help you or answer any questions with the limited resources with which we have to work.

Phone: Our Corporate office number 714-826-8888 remains operational. All greetings and company directory, however, has been replaced with a recording to send inquiries to info@lafonn.com
Email: Please email all inquiries to info@lafonn.com. Please do not send emails to individual employees' email accounts.

We will collect the mail each day, post payments to your account and send updated statements. 
 
Repairs:
Any repairs which you may have sent to Lafonn will be safely stored until we are able to review them upon lifting of the order.
Please do not send any repairs or merchandise to our office until we notify you the order has been lifted and our staff is back in the office.
 
Updates from Lafonn:
We will continue to update you with email notices and by posting updates on the Lafonn.com website.

Subject: URGENT NOTICE DURING NATIONAL EMERGENCY!

 

We continue to closely monitor the National Emergency concerning the Coronavirus situation as it unfolds across our country. We want to update you regarding what Lafonn is doing to support our retail partners and protect our Lafonn associates and families.

Most states, counties, and cities have issued their own regulations regarding how business is conducted within their borders. They restrict the number of individuals on-site and may limit contact with individuals. Some locations have taken steps to limit store openings to only pharmacies and food stores.

 

At Lafonn, we are taking the following steps to ensure the health and safety of our associates:

• We have instituted two shifts to accommodate our retail partners and limit the number of individuals in the office at one time.

• We are constantly cleaning and sanitizing work areas.

• We monitor social distancing to ensure everyone is safe in the office.

 

How will this affect our retail partners?

• You may expect some delays in processing your order.

• We may not be able to answer your phone call right away, but rest assured we will get back to you as quickly as possible.

• We may not be able to quickly accommodate your marketing or custom advertising request.

• We encourage you to use Lafonn.com to place an order.

• We encourage you to contact us by email.

• We will call each customer before shipping a backorder to ensure the store is open to receive the package.

 

This is a fluid situation and we are monitoring it daily and even hourly. Lafonn is committed to supporting our retail partners and protecting our corporate team, their families and our Territory Managers in the field.

I appreciate your patience and trust. We hope and pray that everyone remains healthy, the threat of the Coronavirus is conquered and that better days are near.
